Passion Never Retires for Tammy Loftis

What is the best thing that I love about my work? I wear a lot of different hats but they ALL involve being able to Help People! Knowing that I helped them change their life for the better whether is with Life Coaching, health, wellness, personal training or Spartan Races! I inspired and/or motivated them to be/do better in some way!

What is my idea of perfect happiness? Spending time with my grandchildren & family any time that I get to! Whether that is playing card games (we love Cards lol), watching football, working out, going to church and going on vacation together! They are my heart and the reason I do what I do to make this world a better place!

What is my greatest fear? Not completing my purpose on this earth before my time is up.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? It’s a really close race between impatience and wanting everything I do to be perfect to a fault.

Which living persons in my profession do i most admire? In my personal training career, I would have to say my mentor Bobby Fournier, Jr. He took me under his wing as a brand new trainer and helped me become the awesome Coach I am today! In Life Coaching I have a couple, Tony Robbins and my mentor Coral Grant. I have followed Tony for a really long time and learned a lot through listening to his teachings. Coral is not only my Mentor but a Friend and has really shaped and help develop me into the amazing Life Coach I have become and am becoming!

What is my greatest extravagance? I would have to say my nails & my hair! My nails are always done in a signature way, never just a French Tip and my hair color is always on point and looking the best that it can. I believe you only get one chance to make a First Impression so make it your Best!

On what occasion would I lie? I am not a good liar at all! I would just have to probably choose to be quiet and not say anything. If me lying would save someone’s life (literally), mine included I would figure it out really quick though lol

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? People who tell me they want my help then do nothing towards what we are working on and ultimately end up wasting my time.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work? For Life Coaching, I was in Norway at a Leadership Retreat with BestLife Coaching Society giving a 10 minute leadership presentation! It was the first time I have ever been out of the country and to be able to do what I am passionate about while getting the experience of world travel was the most phenomenal thing ever! In my Personal Training Career, in the gym with my Lift Like a Girl Class! Teaching women how to lift weights and be strong! How not to be afraid of heavy weights and that they wont look like a “Man” by lifting! Watching them hit new PR’s and so excited to see their body’s change!

If I could, what would I change about myself? Quite honestly, I have always been self conscious about being so flat chested and have hated shopping for bras, dresses and shirts because of it. So, if I had a magic wand and could change anything then it would be to have Full “C’s” lol

What is my greatest achievement in work? As a Spartan SGX Coach at the age of 49 I completed 8 Spartan Obstacle Course Races in 9 months to earn my Double Trifecta!

Where would I most like to live? Fiji… the most Beautiful Place on Earth!

What is my most treasured possession? My Books! I am a reader! I love my personal development books! I have all kinds of highlights & notes all through them. Some of them I even read multiple times and always get something new out of it to make me better.

What is my most marked characteristic? My eyes! The are almost an electric blue color when the sunlight hits them just right! Sometimes they will change colors and be like a greyish blue color. That is what I get the most comments on.

The people are so friendly its like walking into a family BBQ every time I walk in the door!

Helped me when I was coming out of a depression get reconnected with God and find peace in my soul again. And hands down The Traveler’s Gift & Mastering the Seven Decisions by Andy Andrews! This book was really one of the 1st personal development books that I dug into and it Fundamentally Changed my Life by changing my perspective on how I viewed life! That’s just to get started lol

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? When I read this question, the first person that popped into my head was Wonder Woman and then Cat Woman was a half a second behind her. They showed me that women could be Strong, Powerful & Sexy all at the same time. That you could do and become anything you wanted to be without restrictions. I embraced this as I was fighting the grip depression had on me and it helped me dig deep to change from the inside to become this most awesome version of myself. There is still a lot of growing going on and I cant wait to see where this thing called life leads me!

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? The men and women for have fought and are fighting for our country today and in the future! And, all of the First Responders, Fire Fighters & Police Officers. They are the most selfless people I know! They “Choose” to put their life on the line for people they don’t know and may never meet to fight for the freedoms we have to do things like run Spartan Races, chase our dreams, voice our opinions, vote, and cheer for our favorite teams during football season while they miss time with their family knowing they may never come home again. For them I am forever Grateful for all they do! Every time I see one of our service members I make it a point to go up to them and say Thank You for Your Service! I APPRECIATE You!

Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime? The Pursuit of Happiness staring Will Smith! That is hands down one of the Best Movies I have ever seen!
