What is the best thing that I love about my work? I love that I can help teach individuals to take back control of their innate ability to heal their bodies from within, using energy and crystal healing. By learning and implementing ancient energy healing techniques, one can bring more peace and joy into their lives while becoming self-empowered. It’s a beautiful thing to take part in other’s transformations.
What is my idea of perfect happiness? Happiness to me equates to being at peace. When we can walk through the world, remembering that we are divine children of the universe, and have a deep connection to this source, then we will emanate peace in everything we do and exude happiness and contentment.
What is my greatest fear? This one is a bit hard for me. I do a lot of inner self-work and don’t hold space for fears. What we dwell on, or keep deep inside, is only a catalyst for something happening in the 3d world. If I think about it, I am still a bit scared of public speaking since I’m an introvert at heart, but I know taking this leap will propel me into the beautiful future that awaits me. Stepping past our fears usually is where we see our most significant growth, although I would also say that I’m not about to jump out of a plane anytime soon. 🙂
What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? Again, I’d like to reiterate to the lovely readers here that doing things like empowering your fears, or using terminology such as deplore when describing yourself just shouldn’t happen. Our energy bodies take in all of the words that we use to belittle ourselves, and it will turn into physical ailments over time. Always reword and think about what energetic signature you are sending out. With that being said, I would love to learn how to stick to more of a routine and accomplish goals that I set out before me in a timely fashion.
Which living persons in my profession do I most admire? Anybody who is owning their psychic abilities and trying to get energy healing more and more accepted is a star in my book. I don’t follow anybody specifically, especially since it is almost still an obscure art, or in better terms is repressed in the mainstream view. It’s my mission in this work to erase the stigma of energy healing and allow individuals to reclaim their divine power.
What is my greatest extravagance? I’d say investing in inner growth work. I’m not afraid to pay decent money for a coach who I’m super aligned with or to receive deep healing work. I also take advantage of fun soul work like having my spirit guides painted around me and for high quality guided meditations or healing transmissions, that further propel my spiritual journey.
On what occasion would I lie? This is a hard one. I probably say I’m too busy, too often, when I may just not feel like hanging out. It’s the introverted curse. I need my downtime and hold it dear since it’s how I recharge my mental and emotional strength.
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? It’s the behind the scenes work like building websites, landing pages, uploading pictures to Etsy and so forth that is crucial to running an online business but takes up so much time. The maintenance work as we call it. I am grateful that as my healing and crystal business grows at Peace On Earth Rocks, I can focus more and more on private healing sessions as well as writing content, ebooks, and even my first ever full book!
When and where was I the happiest, in my work? In all truthfulness, right now. It’s been a fantastic ride in such a short period and I know I still have so many amazing feats to accomplish, but I sincerely enjoy this very moment. I’m taking on beautiful new projects, releasing my first ebooks, teaching my first courses, and just watching my life turn into full bloom. It’s all so exhilarating.
If I could, what would I change about myself? The time has come to start sharing my daily focus onto my physical health. I know that the peace I am so good at creating mentally and emotionally would be that much more amplified if I was living in a more fit body. I’m a vegan and eat pretty healthy, but years of not eating this way, and not having enough activity, has added up. So now, I am working on creating a balance between the spiritual work I do, nurturing my home and family, and nurturing my body as well.
What is my greatest achievement in work? My work in and of itself is the greatest achievement. My crystal and healing business, Peace On Earth Rocks, was born from necessity after a harrowing surgical experience left me unable to work in my massage therapy profession. I still needed to provide for my family and leaped into the crystal sales world. 18 months later and I have regular private clients for my intuitive healing energy sessions and a thriving crystal business. Sometimes you just have to leap.
Where would I most like to live? I fell in love with a quaint town called Little Falls in NY. It is close to the Herkimer Diamonds Mine that I visit twice a year. It’s a short-term goal of mine to open up a cozy bed and breakfast there. It will be a beautiful retreat for myself and loved ones as well as a place of calm and peace that others around the world can retreat too as well.
What is my most treasured possession? Besides the obvious, my precious daughter who has blessed my life, I’d have to say my crystal collection. It’s upwards of 500 hand-picked crystals, and each brings wondrous healing properties into my life and the lives of my clients.
What is my most marked characteristic? My mediation skills. I’ve been the peacemaker my entire life and have always been the level head when needed in school or amongst my friends. There’s a reason why most of my businesses have had the word peace in them. It’s the quality I would always like to emanate in the world.
What is my most inspirational location, in my city? There is a pizza shop in downtown Philly called Rosa’s. Slices of pizza are only $1. The owner started a movement where you can pay for extra slices, and they’ll put up post-it notes on the wall for each slice you purchase. Then people who are down on their luck, homeless, or just need a little extra help that day can take down the post-it notes and have a hot meal. It’s pretty moving and helps many people every day.
What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city? There’s a cute little vegan shop on South St. called the Vegan Tree. It has a great variety of food and bubble tea too! Any place I can order something besides a salad is great in my books. You’ll want to check out the Reading Terminal as it’s a giant market with over 30 smaller food and gift type shops. You can grab a freshly squeezed juice, some organic honey, a delicious hoagie, and even buy a rare book to please all of your senses. `
What books influenced my life and how? The Celestine Prophecy series by James Redfield. I read it the first time when I was a young teen, and it helped influence my spiritual journey. It’s all about finding lost, sacred, knowledge and embarking on a trip to remember that we are all divine beings and are one with the earth and universe.
Who are my favorite writers? Well, James Redfield for one. J.R. Tolkien, JK Rowling, Anne Lamott, and I enjoy Deepak Chopra’s works.
You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day? Some Folksy Bluegrass! Anything with a banjo or a mandolin that can get my feet jiving!
Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? I’m fond of Hermione Granger. Her inner strength and fortitude only take a backseat to her intellect and perseverance. Add in her devotion to her friends and fighting for what’s right and she should certainly go down in the fictional history books as a prominent heroine. She’s a great character for young girls to look up to.
Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? I’m also fond of Hermione Granger in real life, Emma Watson. It seems the role was written for her as Emma portrays much of the same qualities and is known to speak out for equal rights. I also like Ellen Degeneres and others who are striving for equality in the LGBTQ community.
Which movie would I recommend to see once in a lifetime? My inner geek is about to show, but my favorite movie ever is The Labyrinth with David Bowie. If you haven’t seen it, do yourself a favor and buy a copy of this 80’s cult classic. You won’t regret it.
What role plays art in my life and work? Pretty significant I’d say. My high school was Creative and Performing Arts in Center City, Philadelphia. It had five majors; vocals, dance, creative writing, instrumental, and visual arts. I was/am a visual artist. Even though I don’t take as much time as I’d like to practice, I love to cover my spaces in various art forms and am craving to get on a pottery wheel again. We all need to keep our creative juices flowing, and right now I’m focusing on creating energy and crystal classes which are fun in their own right.
Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? I’d have to say two of my besties, Elizabeth Stanley and Lora Simonds. We are all entrepreneurs and lift each other up by owning our divine feminine powers and supporting each other as we launch our gifts into the world. Having a moral support system is vital when you’re trying to conquer the 1000th project on your list that month, and these two women stand behind me and help me rise every day.
Whom would I like to work with in 2018? I wouldn’t mind being on Ellen for the crystal movement I’ve started. You can check it out at www.permovement.com My mission behind it is to spread crystal energy around the globe, to those who may need it most. People underestimate the power of healing energy and love. By leaving these crystals in random places all around the world, they will be found by the right people who need that specific energy. I’ve seen it happen already and I’d love for this movement to get really, really big.
Which people in my profession would I love to meet in 2018? My business coach, Jasmine Ivy, is also a powerful psychic and she’s pretty damn impressive. I intend to meet her out in California for a mastermind retreat in January of 2018. And when I set an intention that’s aligned with the Universe, it always comes to fruition.
What project, in 2018, am I looking forward to work on? To have my first book published. I’m creating a series for children on different energy themes, including chakras, crystals, and staying in tune with earth magic.
Where can you see me or my work in 2018? I will have a physical location for my crystals and healing classes at Ritual, Ritual in downtown Philadelphia. You can also watch the creations flow more and more at www.peaceonearthrocks.com
What do the words “Passion Never Retires” mean to me? It means to cultivate a career that you will never want to stop growing and it shows me that we can all find that same passion inside of us and strive forward to get it out into the world. Our gifts and stories are so needed. It is up to us to own our power and be our authentic selves so that others who come after us can have permission to do the same.
Which creative heroes and heroines should Peter invite to tell their story? Lora Simonds and Jasmine Ivy
