I’m so beautiful.

Never lie, especially in painting.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work?
I‘m happy when I work in my studio. Lately I get bored at the exhibitions, even though I was very happy to see the exhibition “Post zang tumb tuum. Art life politics: Italy 1918-1943 “at the Prada Foundation in Milan, shook me.
If I could, what would I change about myself?
Nothing today. I’m serious.
What is my greatest achievement in work?
It still has to happen.

Do whatever you want without anxiety
Where would I most like to live?
Everywhere, the important thing is to wake up in the morning and drink coffee.
What is my most treasured possession?
My neck.
What is my most marked characteristic?
I’m stubborn and I do not give up easily, if I want something I try in every way to get it and keep it.
What is my most inspirational location, in my city?
The parks. I sit at the bench and look. Like a voyeur.
What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city?
I live between my hometown Foggia and Milan, in both cities I have favorite places, I love bars; in Milan I go to “Charlie”, in Foggia lately I discovered the “Kandiski” (yes, it’s called that).
What books influenced my life and how?
Too many books have been important, but perhaps two in particular have taught me a lot: An essay concerning human understanding by John Locke and Domestic Happiness by Tolstoj.
Who are my favorite writers?
Leopardi, Sanguineti, London, Bukowski, Flaiano, Bulgakov, Tolstoy, Voltaire and many others.

Nobody.

Another year by Mike Leigh and L’homme qui aimait les femmes by Truffaut.

It is in first place on equal points with much more.

I want to make very large paintings with themes that unfortunately I have abandoned a bit.

Now I have a group show at the Galerie Parnasse in Aarhus, Denmark, and in June opens another group show in Denmark, at the Carlsberg Byens Kunst in Copenhagen.
What do the words “Passion Never Retires” mean to me?
It is the desire to live, wake up in the morning and make a drawing. Or make love, wake up in the morning and make love. It’s the same thing.
